I'm Amanda, offering practical care to suit your needs.
We all have moments in life when we feel overwhelmed, incapable, and in need of help and support. I provide care for my clients treating them with dignity and respect. As a dedicated home help since 2016, Select-A-Domestic Service Fylde believes that home care is more than just helping with daily activities, it is about making a difference to quality of life.

Amanda has been a regular carer for my mother Janet for a number of years. In addition to this she has provided updates and reassurance for myself as I live in Oxford so am unable to get to the North-West as often as I would like.
Not only is Amanda reliable and thorough, she has also been able to provide emergency support for my mum in times of crisis and has also kept me updated, she has contacted medics on behalf of my mum and also helps to ensure that she can get out and about to not only crucial appointments for her physical health but also to the hairdressers and podiatrist or just for a coffee, which as a mental health nurse I feel is just as important for my mum.
Amanda has also on many occasions gone above and beyond what one would expect of a regular carer she is kind and thoughtful always ringing my mum the day before they meet up to confirm the plan, this is very reassuring for her, she is also helpful with technology which my mum (and myself to be honest) struggles with at times.
With regard to first aid, Amanda is well trained which was put to good use recently , she is calm and intuitive and has always made sure that my mum is comfortable and settled before she leaves.
